Climate in Mauritius
Mauritius enjoys a perennially sunny climate, in general. Midwinter occurs in June and July with midday temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) on the coast and 19 degrees Celsius (66 degrees Fahrenheit) on the plateau. Midsummer occurs in January and February with midday temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius on the plateau and 31 degrees Celsius (88 degrees Fahrenheit) on the coast.

In summer, the sun rises at about 5.30hrs and sets at about 19.00hrs. In winter, it rises at about 6.30hrs and sets at about 17.30hrs.

The raining season is from January to March and the cyclonic season is between November to March.
