4K Tests Web Map

Technology is going to play a huge role in helping YWAM present the gospel personally to this generation. With 4K, the role of technology is particularly important and we have been praying that God would provide a team from an existing ministry to help us in this area. Two months ago, the Information Technology team at U of N Kona stepped out in faith and accepted the challenge of pioneering new technical tools that we need to get 4K information to YWAMers who need it.

As a first step, the whole team felt led to set aside all their other projects in order to build the 4K web interface. God blessed their efforts and we are currently beta testing a cutting-edge, web-based interactive map that will provide 4K data at the click of a mouse. This is a major breakthrough!

Internationally, we are building 4K teams and working with existing YWAM ministries to provide seven major 4K functions: Communications, Research, Information Technologies, Strategic Targeting, Mobilization and Partnership.
