Day 2, Annual Africa Leadership Team Meeting in Pretoria, South Africa

Seeking to put into practice Jim Stier’s word to ‘get satisfied in God’, before addressing any of the issues on their full agenda, the Africa Leaders began their first full day of meetings with a time of worship and prayer. Around the meeting room copies of the Prayer Guide for Africa appeared, as the leaders joined the rest of the YWAM family around Africa in intercession for the needs of the continent. “We are more impressed with God than we are with the challenges we face”, one of them prayed, even as worship flowed into intercession for the continent.

As the meeting moved into a time of reporting back from the seven YWAM Africa regions, the mood of celebration continued. In many places there are significant challenges, but nevertheless much has been achieved and there is good fruit to be seen in many locations thanks to the labors and perseverance of YWAMers.
