| About our staff -- Viviane Tudienou
Viviane from the Democratic Republic of Congo, showed wonderful hospitality to us recently when we visited Niakhar, Senegal.
She dreams about working with Marine Reach one day. However, she first needs to learn English and complete her commitment to the Niakhar Base culminating June, 2007.
We asked Viviane, who has trained as a nurse, to recount her story.
While visiting her brother, a missionary with YWAM in Koutiala, Mali, she read the book 'Is that really you God?', by Loren Cunningham. She was deeply impacted and enrolled shortly afterwards for the Discipleship Training School, October 2001 to March 2002. During this course she received a call to serve God amongst the destitute, believing that she could bring hope and healing through healthcare.
Working as a volunteer with YWAM in Bamako for a few months, she heard about the work in Niakhar. After working in a clinic for several months, she joined YWAM in Niakhar, in June 2005. Even though it has not been easy, Viviane loves working with the nutrition program and declares that God has been faithful to her.
