Oliveira quotes this proverb: "He who spent a night under a tree knows better about the singing of birds."
The 28 year old young man, who did his Discipleship Training School in 2002 in Lobito, Angola, has a deep desire to start a centre for professional training of handicapped people. "Being handicapped myself, I know how difficult it is to live in our society," he says.

He was five years old when, due to Polio, he started having trouble with his legs. His family didn't know how to help him. He felt rejected by them and sought substitute comfort in a life-style of sin, until he realized that only Jesus could help him cope with his loneliness and sense of deficiency. He consequently found purpose in life, knowing he is valuable. It's his desire to make a difference in society, especially amongst the physically-handicapped, the poor and the needy.

He also dreams of learning more about communication. Eventually he wants to publish articles in magazines and newspapers.
