I was born in a Christian family. My father has been a pastor for sixteen years. His example of renouncing everything in order to obey God's call impressed me deeply. Through many difficulties both in my family and in my own life I saw God at work in a tremendous way, which led me to know Him.
By the end of my studies in nursing, I realised that God wanted me help the unfortunate and needy, by helping them to receive healing in their bodies and also to know God's plans for their lives (see John 10, 10b).
In 2000 I did DTS. I stayed on as YWAM staff, working in healthcare. Time and time again God confirmed what He told me years ago: I am to give life to others.
I hope to set up a health project, attending to the common diseases in our region (malaria, typhoid fever, etc.). The most pressing need is for me and other missionaries to get microscopic training for clinical and laboratory analysis. We endeavour to not only attend to people's physical needs, but also get involved in any other missionary activity called for.
