Joel (Hossi) and Lucas (Jamba) are 13 year old twins. Sindoca is 10 years old. They came to us a good year ago. Their father was a lorry driver. In 1997 he didn't return from a journey. People say he and other lorry drivers were attacked and killed by bandits in Southern Angola.The children's mother, a businesswoman, was kidnapped in 1998 and never returned. An elderly grandmother and a young aunt took the children in. There was no income and the aunt turned to prostitution to feed the family.
That's when we heard about the situation and took the children to "El Shaddai". Joel and Sindoca are in 2nd class, Lucas is in 3rd class. We keep in touch with their grandmother and aunt.
