The King's Kids of Koutiala.

Who are the King's Kids ?

The King's Kids are kids and teenagers from Koutiala and its region, from any social group, any denomination. They are 7 to 19 years old. It's a YWAM ministry whose leaders are committed to giving any kid or teenager the possibility of having a real and concrete relationship with God and to strengthen him in order that he could respond to God's call in his life.

What are our goals ?

We want the children to realise the importance and the necessity of listening to God's voice and obeying him every day. This is a lifestyle to develop. The leader's priority is the spiritual, emotional and physical health of every King's Kid.

  1. The relationship with God (knowing Him): through personal devotional time, every K.K. is building his relationship with God.
  2. Making disciples: we meet once a week (Sunday afternoon) to have teachings, times of praise and worship and intercession, dance repetitions, games, etc.
  3. Spiritual capacity: through groups of action, the leaders help the children and teenagers to develop their spiritual capacity (living by faith).
  4. Link generations: we build bridges between the generations, so that they can live harmoniously.
  5. Working in teams: the works of salubrity and handwork allow us to come together and work in teams ; the decisions are made together by the team.
  6. Outreaches: we organize different camps and outreach trips, where we allow the children to witness their faith through choreographies or door to door.

The principal areas in the King's Kids leaders' lives (and the members):

  1. Our relationship with God: personal devotion, meditation on God's,
  2. Our couples' family lives: we have to answer to our spouse's needs and take care of our children; that's a part of belonging to our ministry.
  3. The ministry: we are called to this ministry among the K.K.
  4. The work: we are involved in this work with the K.K.

  • - For more staff to look upon the K.K.
  • - For the outreach tour: throughout Mali in August and September 2007 (one month).
  • - For the finances of this tour.
  • - For God's protection and the success of this tour.
  • - For the spiritual development of the children and teenagers.
