How to Effectively Cope with Busyness:

1. Let God set the pace

  • Discern between God ordained busyness and drivenness
  • Let God determine priorities and intensity
  • Heed God's instructions for quiet and rest

2. Insist on making your quiet time your #1 priority - don't sleep without it!

3. Make sure you invite God's correction regularly - don't let unheeded sins creep in

4. Invite God's daily realignment

5. Invite your spouse and another respected leader to redirect you if they observe things that need correcting

6. Fervently maintain eternal perspective and future orientation

7. Plan and enforce a one day retreat each month for evaluation and realignment
