Tomorrow Another Meeting

" I previously mentioned that YWAM is sometimes jokingly called 'Youth With Another Meeting.' As we value teamwork, meetings become an important process of inclusion. It is in meetings that we move away form autocratic styles of leadership to community based decisions where everyone owns a part in the decisions that affect their own future and ministry. So meetings within the ministry stimulate unity and ownership of changes that must take place in our rapidly changing world of ministry.

Meetings are also important with the broader missions community. It is often as we share together across divergent ministries that we get a bigger picture of what God is doing. When we find different ministries each making the same type of decisions it brings a sense of confirmation that we are all following the same 'Divine Director.' We also are able to share insights with one another that help build the broader kingdom of God. Tomorrow we attend a meeting of 'missionary care givers' in this province of South Africa. Please pray as we network with other key players in missions member care."
