Spiritual Circumcision: A testimony

To me the experience of spiritual circumcision has involved withdrawing from fleshly striving after many worthy goals. My own ideas as too small, my perspective too limited, my strength soon exhausted. “Come Lord Jesus and carry me deeper into Your presence, fill me with Your Spirit, live Your life through me today.”

A leader? Yes, I am that, however I’m only responsible for my daily obedience during my waking hours. As I do the things that He guides and empowers me to do, I complete my obedience, enter His rest, and leave the consequences with Him, the Almighty, the All-loving, the All-wise author and finisher of all things.
