"My prayer continues to be that He will open the eyes of those in YWAM who are pondering the unusual loss of life in recent days and that by faith they will find that He has well marked the path they are walking.

We know that it has been given to the Bride to be robed in white which is the righteous acts of the saints. We also know that our Lord spoke of that 'Greater Love' which is to lay down our life for another. Further to this, we know that the singular hallmark of the believer, which will convince the unbeliever that Jesus is truly in our midst, is our love for one another.

As we near the end of the age, I believe that this 'Greater Love' of which Jesus spoke will increasingly become the hallmark of the Bride. As she gazes into her Master's eyes, I believe that she will begin to lay down her life in remarkable ways. I believe that this 'Greater Love' will begin to flourish in the Bride as her yearning to be more intimately aligned with her Master will cause her to seek out the desperate, the lonely, the broken, the lost of our society. She will begin to find ways of loving them and expressing this 'Greater Love' towards them in a manner before which the gates of hell will crumble!

With this in mind, it is quite possible that the unusual loss of life in recent days is not an indication that anything is wrong, rather it may be a profound indication that something is gloriously right! He who keeps his life shall lose it, but he who loses his life for His sake will find true Life in Him."
