Tanzania is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, and it is home to the tallest mountain on the African continent. The YWAM Kilimanjaro base lies on 28 acres at the foot of this famous mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Our vision is to train, challenge, and equip Christians to reach their local community, their nation, surrounding nations, Africa, and the whole world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and with community-based projects.

YWAM Kilimanjaro is committed to EDUCATING the children in our region of Tanzania with the goal of giving them hope for their future.

The YWAM TRAINING offered at our base is unique in that it focuses not just on the intellect, but on the emotional, physical, social, moral, and spiritual development of each student. The DTS is designed to encourage students in personal character development, encouraging and cultivating a living relationship with God, living out the word of God,and identifying their call from God. Educating a young child in God's ways will pass on His values. As a Spirit-led teacher, equipped with tools given in FIE and SECE, you can build a strong foundation in a child's life… for eternity.

Our compassionate MINISTRIES reach out to those in need. Today we tend to the spiritual, physical, and educational needs of orphaned children in our area in our recently completed Nyumba ya Furaha (Joyful House).
