Welcome to YWAM Mombasa

Mombasa is a place of great beauty
with white coral sand beaches and clear blue seas.
However the physical beauty hides the spiritual darkness evident here at the coast.

YWAM Mombasa, established in 1978,
at the seaport known as 'the gateway to East Africa',
is committed to reaching the coastal people who are bound by witchcraft and Islam and to bring the light of Jesus to a people who have been spiritual bound in darkness.

Mombasa's climate is hot and spiritually oppressive.
But God is calling us to go forward with the things he has for us to do.

YWAM Mombasa has trained over 1000 young people from all over the world.
Some of our former students are now well known Christian leaders,
pastors and people involved in different mission organisations around the world.
God has used YWAM Mombasa to pioneer other ministries
in Kenya,Uganda, Tanzania Ethiopia and Rwanda.
